About Spoolab

Spoolab is a small independent project making free calculators for 3D printing. Each tool runs entirely in your browser, explains its formula and links to the sources behind its default values (manufacturer data sheets, official wikis and well-known community guides).

Numbers are estimates. Printers, filaments and electricity tariffs differ, so treat results as a starting point and check them against your slicer, scale and bill.

In future, some pages may include clearly labelled affiliate links to printers or filament. They will never change the maths or the order of results in our tools.

Found an error? Every formula is on the page, so you can check our working — and we fix mistakes as soon as we find them.
